Aeris
Encountering and Leveling Aeris
Aeris are scattered throughout the world, waiting to be discovered by players during their real-world journeys. The more players move and explore, the greater the chance of encountering these elusive creatures.
Each Aeris possesses an individual capture level, which can be improved by the player to a maximum of level 80. As players defeat other Aeris, participate in raids, or actively traverse the world, their Aeris gains experience points and levels up accordingly. Only one Aeris can be selected as a companion at a time, allowing players to focus on leveling up their chosen companion.
To advance to a higher level, an Aeris requires progressively more experience points. With each level gained, the Aeris's attributes increase. The attributes of an Aeris include:
Attack: Determines the strength of the Aeris's physical attacks.
Vitality: Represents the Aeris's health and resilience to damage.
Agility: Governs the Aeris's speed and evasion capabilities.
Special Attack: Influences the potency of the Aeris's special abilities and attacks.
These attributes are randomly generated upon capture, and they gradually improve with each level gained. This variability ensures that each captured Aeris presents unique potential, adding an element of excitement to each encounter.
When engaging in battles with Aeris in the world, players are informed with a small symbol next to the name if at least one of the Aeris's attributes has reached its maximum value. This feature enables players to make informed decisions about whether to attempt capturing or defeating the Aeris without the need to speculate about its potential attributes.
In addition to the name, Aeris encountered in the open world display their current level. Players must consider the levels of their already captured Aeris to ensure they are adequately prepared to face the challenges presented by each encounter.
Aeris Diversity and Legendary Encounters
At the start of the game, players will encounter a diverse array of 167 Aeris, including their standard forms as well as their evolutions. Among these, 17 will be classified as Legendary Aeris, which can only be obtained through specific raid encounters.
It's important to note that not all 17 Legendary Aeris will be available at the beginning of the game. Instead, they will be gradually unlocked through a series of exciting events, adding an element of anticipation and discovery to players' journeys.
These Legendary Aeris represent the pinnacle of power and rarity in the world of Cave Monster, offering players the opportunity to test their skills and strategies in challenging encounters. Whether they're battling against formidable opponents or working together with friends to overcome shared obstacles, the quest for Legendary Aeris promises to be an exhilarating adventure.
Shiny Variants of Aeris
In addition to the standard variations, each of the 150 "normal" Aeris in Cave Monster will also have a shiny variant. Upon encountering a shiny variant in the game, players will be treated to a brief animation that signals its uniqueness. While shiny variants differ in appearance from their regular counterparts, they do not possess altered attributes. The attributes of shiny variants remain randomly generated, maintaining the element of surprise and excitement.
The chance of encountering a shiny variant of an Aeris will be set at 1 in 500. This rarity adds an extra layer of excitement to players' adventures, encouraging exploration and discovery as they search for these elusive creatures.
It's important to note that shiny variants of Aeris will not be available at the release of the game but will be introduced at a later date, providing players with ongoing opportunities to expand their collections and embark on new adventures.
